Northroom bought four days of ads into a dead signup.
Northroom launched a six-week cohort on Monday. By Thursday they had burned four days of ads and the classroom was still empty. After publish, the magic link still used the preview host, so join dumped people somewhere that was not the live course. The editor still looked like a working product.
What happened
They built a cohort on Bolt: landing page, waitlist, email me a link, classroom behind the door. They published northroom.bolt.host, turned ads on, and watched the clicks arrive. Clicks were fine. Nobody got in.
The ad account said the page was working, so they rewrote the headline and raised the budget. Day four a friend told them the join link opened a host that was not the course. Inside Bolt the link still worked, because it pointed at preview. Customers are not on preview.
Focale was not on that app. If the first session is tonight, pay a fixer ($500 to $1,000+) and unstick it once. If you will ship again tomorrow, watch. Doing nothing is how you buy another four days of ads.
What I built this for
Focale watches signup, checkout, and deploys on a live Lovable, Bolt, or Replit app and tells you in plain English, with a proven fix. No write access to your database. You approve anything near money or accounts.
Free is $0. Watch is $9.50 (list $19). Protect is $24.50 (list $49). Prices are on focale.io/pricing.
