Kilnbook shipped. The calendar stayed empty for three days.
Kilnbook put class booking on Lovable. Three days later the calendar was still empty. They blamed Instagram. Sign in with Google still pointed at the preview host, so nobody who opened the live URL could create an account. The editor looked fine the whole time.
What happened
Neighborhood yoga studio. Small bet: book a mat without DMing the front desk. Lovable made it look done in an afternoon. They published kilnbook.lovable.app, put it on Instagram, and waited.
A few regulars did tap the link. Google signed them in, then sent them back to the preview host, not the live app. No account. No class. Empty calendar. Not a payment bug. Signup never finished.
Focale was not on that app. Nothing was watching signup. Three days blaming Instagram is the expensive version of that check.
