Laneindex hit publish. Customers were still on last week's app.
Laneindex shipped a contact form on Wednesday. For five days the neighborhood stayed quiet, and they read it as no demand. Publish had looked green. The live URL was still last week's build, so the form never existed for anyone who actually opened it. The editor showed the new page the whole time.
What happened
Listings were there: plumbers, sitters, a couple of electricians. They added a contact form on Replit, hit publish, got a green button, dropped the live URL in the neighborhood group, and waited. Nothing landed.
Day five a neighbor who had been shown the editor said they already sent a message. The public site was still last week's browse-only directory. No form. They almost killed it because nobody used it. Nobody used it because it was not on the live URL.
Focale was not on that app. Nothing was watching whether the live URL actually moved.
